Fairy Swap Pages

Yesterday I finally got started on creating my Fairy Swap pages. My granddaughter Aryn (5) and I used the different cutting devices that I had and cut a huge pile of images out. We also cut the main pages out so that they were the right shape. With all of the tools I have, I know longer have a straight edge cutter! So we had to do them by hand with a pair of scissors. This morning I wrote the poems and verses, then went down to my work area to assemble my fun projects. The glue I had must be old as it was not sticking well, so I decided on putting a finish on them. The third one was the charm and I think these will be ready to mail off soon. I ended up doing 9 page back and front. Here is just a sampling of them.

As each has a front and back, the last one I will show is the Fall and I will show the front and back of it.

All in all a totally enjoyable time and I want to give a big thanks to Karla of Karla's Cottage for inviting me to participate.
