Making of a Masque Ball

Image
Making of a Masque Ball This was a idea/dream of mine since I was young. To go to a fairytale type Masque Ball.  Of course I already have my prince, but the idea of a lavish Ball with costumes, wonderful food, dancing and beautiful surrounds has played in my head for ages.  Dale and I were on a trip to my Brother wedding, while driving back to the airport in Boston we were talking and he said that as this has been a dream of mind that I should just go for it. I looked at several venues and finally settled on LaCaille It is set at the mouth of a canyon and is designed to look like a French Chateau.  It is complete with swans, peacocks, and other birds. I choose to have the affair in their Grand Ballroom. This was all scheduled in January of 2015. During the next several month I meet several times with different people at the venue to decide, table arrangements, linens,  what to serve, how to serve it,  taste testing the food, meeting the head chef and pastry chef, floo

The Masque Ball I can say, that it was i=one of the funnest events I have thrown or attended. I had such a great time and all of the guest were great. LaCaille was such a great place to have it. The pond outside had swans, peacocks, and ducks  When we got to hot from all our dancing and fun we could step outside to the patio for a breath of fresh air. The courtyard also provide a spot of quiet in the craziness and fun Of course, inside we had a great DJ & dancing, tables & conversation, fantastic food, beautiful setting and even a fun photo booth. Below are a few of the several hundred photos taken at the photo booth.  I still haven't really looked at them all, but some are really funny!  Neibaur Clan, we barely fit in the picture!
