I have found out that I like to do these adult coloring pages.  This the first page I did above. I had a set of colored pencils with me on a trip to Florida  in November; this page was in one of the magazines I bought and was reading. It was not as bold as I would have like and so I was not as satisfied with it. Then this is one of the three I just did this past week when we were south in the sun and warmer weather. I had brought a set of marker along and was much happier with the color depth.  I think this was one of my favorites so far. I just like how the colors seemed to interact well together. This last one I decided to do in various shade of one color. Mister blue bunny did okay, but I did not feel as content with it. I just did not feel finished, but they were all great ways to relax in the San Diego sunshine at the beach.

Showering soon to be born twins and their mommy with gifts, fun and friends. I had the pleasure of cohosting a baby shower for a young friends who is having twins. I got to brush up my party planning skills and also got to make some fun things to decorate and serve for refreshments. Here is how it went: First thing included a while searching amazon for the things I thought I could use to put together a fun shower.  I found some cute bottle party favours and got some candy to fill them with. since she is have a girl and a boy this meant blue and pink.  Here are the finished party favours  Then I raided the extra new bath and beauty product I had in my cupboard and got baby gift bags for prizes for the games.  Then I went to making diaper cakes for the table They were as fun as the other times I had done them. about 75 diapers per cake. I like them as they are a cute decoration and then you can still use all the diaper for the new babies.  I finished the lit

I am a person of great many interest and talents. This is good and it is bad. I have a wide variety of interests in every aspect in my life, including my art and crafting. I have been self employed most of my life and my husband  and I have well enough to be able to indulge some of our passions and not always have to make money at them all. This is a luxury for someone who grew up in a home where money never seemed to cover everything needed or wanted, so I ended up working to pay for some of the clothes and such  I wanted in my early teens. My first love was cooking and sewing. These i have kept up to various degrees over the years. I worked in restaurants cooking catering, wedding planning,  and as a private tailor in high school and college to pay my way. After I got married, I designed and sewed all of my families clothes for many years. I also did cake decorating for people. I have decide that I have just enter a new phase of life for me with moving and taking a year off from most of my crafting.  I sorted out some of the things I moved with me in the way of supplies and went through a couple of boxes of things I had put together from stuff I had at shows. As this business was a hobby for me for many years with me attend a few shows here and there, I was not having to make much of a profit on the things I made. With all the previous things made paid for already and plenty if supplies to make more when I am ready, I am ready to just release some of the things from previous show supplies. What this means is that I am going to be doing some give away both from here and from my Facebook page. I will let you know what and when they will be soon. Also when I get my website remodeled, I will be doing giveaways there also. This is still in the planning stage, but it is an idea I like. Last year I took most of the year off from crafting and art projects. I have several plans for this year. As of yet no plans to include shows anywhere, but who knows. My goals for this first few month's goals as far as Mountain Magic Arts are: 1. post regularly on this blog, about once a week, 2. finish sorting my jewelry supplies and start creating again 3. get out all of my previously finished jewelry and put it up for sale. Not sure if it will be through square or the etsy store I used to have,  that is another choice to make. 4. keep my face book page going with post once or twice a week. 5. start my other projects and remember to take pictures to share here. These are my goal for 2017 first few months I miss not crafting and creating. I have had a great 2016, with a lot of travel, a new home, seeing lots of family and doing some decluttering as part of the move.
