New Day for my Creating My outfit for the first night of the Steamfest Friday evening and Saturday I spent in Salt Lake City at the first annual Steamfest. I was in the artist alley. I only took some of my jewelry (about half of it Steampunk). My table at the Steamfest It went fairly well for only my second show. I feel that I have learned a few things. I am hoping to get into the Dickens Festival this year yet. Now the next few days will be spent; finishing my website, deciding what to make to have juried for the festival, clearing up my work area (so I can product new stuff), updating all my business books, and cleaning my office. I would like to sneak a couple of new designs in also. I have some fun idea's I want to explore. Thanks to all who stop and chatted at the Steamfest!
I have not been as good at keeping this blog up as I would like to be, I will have to work on it. I am getting ready for this weekends' Steampunk Convention in SLC where I have a table. It is their first one, so I have no idea how it will go, but I hope to have fun. Now that I have started to refine the type of jewelry I like designing more, I will probably put some of the charms and such, that I don't think I will be using, into lots and sell it on ETSY. I have to get serious and really design that store as well as get my web sites up and functioning. I hope to be selling on a store of my own as well as on my ETSY store. I may put some things on consignment at Holly's EBAY store also. I will let my reader know where my things will be selling.

Anime expo Well, I got back yesterday from Anime Expo. I did alright for my first year and learned a lot. I have tons of new ideas for next years show. It was interesting how many people said they loved my jewelry, but didn't buy any. It was sort of a mixed bag. Great to hear compliments, but more sales would have been nice also. I now have to spend this month getting my websites up and running, as well as figure out where I want to try to network. I think I might get on the artist alley forum and deviant art. Beyond that I am not sure.  I am also working on figuring out what I will be bringing next time to this convention. I may do a sampling of several new products also there. I am going to try to keep the blogs and facebooks current with a post once a week on the blogs and daily on facebook. I will also be showing some of my new idea on one or the other as they become solid.
